DESK RECEPTIONIST/CLERK:
Per Diem position available to cover hours as needed primarily on the 6 PM - 8:30
PM shift and possible coverage for weekend and holiday shifts 9 AM - 5:30 PM or
12 Noon - 8:30 PM shifts. Will be required to cover the switchboard. No guarantee
of hours/no benefits. Greets, screens and directs patients and visitors to various
hospital departments and services. Issues visitor passes. Must project a positive
and professional image at all times; must have excellent communication skills
with basic computer knowledge. Must have the ability to perform responsibilities
with limited direct supervision. Must be able to transport patients/visitors in
wheelchairs, pull, push and lift objects less than 20 lbs.; must be able to sit
for prolonged periods of time.

ER
CODER: Per
Diem or up to 20 hrs/wk. Candidate must be a Certified Coding Specialist to perform
Emergency Dept. professional and facility coding and charging. Responsible for
coding and abstracting emergency medical records in addition to performing medical
necessity, supply charging and drug reconciliation procedures. Assigns the E&M
level code, procedure code and charge entry for both physician and hospital. Requirements:
CPC, CCS or RHIT credential required. Extensive knowledge of ICD-9-Cm and CPT
and professional and facility charging and E/M coding principles and guidelines
required. Extensive knowledge of federal, state and payer-specific regulations
and policies pertaining to documentation, coding, charging and billing required.
At least 2-3 years of hospital ED coding experience preferred. Knowledge of 3M
and Meditech applications preferred. Skills and Abilities: HIM regulatory knowledge;
understanding of Clinical coding and billing issues; Meditech user experience,
HIPAA knowledge. Must have the ability to prioritize and exercise independent
judgment; demonstrated ability to use initiative and to learn new skills.

ADMINISTRATION
MANAGER
- Emergency Center: Full time position - 24-hour accountability for EC
operations. Will manage the day-to-day operations and resources of our ECC and
the Walk-In Center to include quality patient care, staff development and ensuring
a high level of patient and staff satisfaction. A valid CT RN license, BSN or
equivalent, masters preferred. Emergency medicine management/supervisory experience
are required - 5 years professional experience in acute care and 3-5 years management
experience. Experience in a computerized clinical documentation environment is
desired. Certification in Emergency Nursing is a plus.

SUPERVISOR:
(2) Per Diem positions to cover hours/shifts as needed within the hospital. Is
responsible for the nursing care provided to patients, assures patient safety,
acts as resource person to staff, resolves problems for all hospital departments,
allocates and redistributes human and physical resources. Assures adequate staffing
levels and mix for each nursing unit. Must be a graduate of an accredited Nursing
Program and holds a current CT RN license. A Baccalaureate degree is required
with a minimum of 5 years professional experience in acute care with 1-2 year's
supervisor experience; BLS and ACLS.

This
is an unpaid mentorship allowing the student nurse an opportunity
to expand their current clinical knowledge base, improve organizational skills,
develop nursing judgement and increase clinical competency by working 1:1 with
a professional RN. You will experience nursing as it truly is, attending educational
seminars offered to all nursing staff, and observe the nursing process in different
settings. You must currently be enrolled in a school of nursing and be entering
